The digital home of SkillUp Africa

Skills that hold.
A community that stays.

More than 20,000 people have trained with SkillUp Africa — in classrooms in Lagos, workshops in Ibadan, studios in Ile-Ife, and communities the internet barely reaches. The Community is where all of it becomes one journey you never have to leave.

Not a course platform

A course ends. This doesn't.

Most people finish a course and go quiet. SkillUp Africa Community is built so the opposite happens — what you learn feeds what you build, what you build introduces you to people, and those people open the next door. It is one continuous thread, not seven separate products.

Learn

Practical learning, taught the way people actually work

SkillUp Africa Academy carries structured paths you can follow at your own pace — with assignments, projects and assessment planned, not just video. Catalogue, enrolment and path previews are available now; lesson delivery is planned. Vocational and in-person training runs alongside it at our hubs.

The ecosystem

We are online and on the ground

SkillUp Africa runs physical hubs in three Nigerian cities, a digital academy, an offline learning system for low-connectivity communities, and its own radio and television output. The Community connects all of it under one membership.

Connect

Learning is easier when you're not doing it alone

Members will find people working on the same things — in their field, their city, or their cohort. These community tools are planned; they are not live in this release. We'd rather say which is which.

Advance

Learning should leave a trail

The planned trail will let every assignment, project and contribution build a record you own — something to show, not just something to claim. We don't promise jobs. We make you easier to take seriously.

Step 01

Learn

Complete paths at your own pace.

Step 02

Evidence

Assessed work, kept on your record.

Step 03

Projects

Applied work, often with a team.

Step 04

Growth

Harder briefs, leadership, new fields.

Step 05

Opportunities

Visibility to people who are looking.

This trail describes the direction of the platform. Assessed records, projects, leadership and opportunity tools are planned.

Why people join

Membership costs nothing.

i

Keep learning after the course ends

One membership, many paths, no expiry date.

ii

Meet people doing the same work

In your field, your city, or your cohort.

iii

Build evidence you own

Assessed work and projects, not self-declared skills.

iv

See what is possible

Opportunities, programmes and paths you had not heard of.

v

Grow at your own pace

Whether you are starting out or changing direction.

vi

Give something back

Mentor, volunteer, or help run your local cluster.

These reasons describe the membership vision. Community, assessed evidence, opportunity, mentorship and volunteer tools are planned.

Supported by, enabled by and connected through relationships across the wider ecosystem.
